The producer/service provider can apply for the authorization and the right to use the Transylvania Authentica trademark if he:

• possesses a trading and/or producer's certificate registered in Transylvania,
• is owner or leaseholder of the applied product/service and undertakes responsibility for the safety and quality of it,
• undertakes responsibility for the conditions of production of the product/service,
• respects the legal conditions specified about the production and the marketing of the product/service,
• agrees to the terms and conditions stipulated by the program, the product or service corresponds to the preliminary conditions of its sector,

If authorization is granted, takes responsibility that the product/service corresponds and respects the eligibility standards and the rules described by the Operational Rules of the program.

In order to obtain the right to use the trade mark the following branches of products and special services have priority:

• Food & drink: Food or drink products, which are characteristically Transylvanian and which are produced in environmentally friendly conditions
• Arts & crafts: Handmade, unique, characteristically Transylvanian traditional products, which are produced in environmentally friendly conditions.
• Accommodation/meal: Commercial activities through which the service provider offers accommodation and meal in characteristically Transylvanian and environmentally friendly conditions, in order to promote the local natural and cultural milieu
• Experiences: Services, which by means of recreation and entertainment programs or tours promote the local natural and cultural milieu. (For example: Apiary, bird watching, hiking, horse riding tours, traditional programs, etc.)

The conditions of awarding the right to use the Transylvania Authentica collective trademark are described in the Eligibility Standard System of each specific sector.

The application for the authorization and the right of legal use of the mark is made by transmission of the Application form. The Application form can be downloaded from the www.transylvania-authentica.ro website. The Application form and its appendix have to be filled out and sent to the office of the Environmental Partnership Foundation.
